Shelter intended for disaster relief situations. The basic unit is a 40' long ISO shipping container. Contains one WC, one shower, seven bunkbeds with assigned lockers for each one, a small kitchenette, a water tank on the roof and space for hammocks and clothing drying lines. It is well illuminated and ventilated both passively and mechanically by the use of ceiling fans and energy saving luminaires. The unit can be painted with the colors of the donating organization or the flag either of the country of donating the unit or the country where the shelter will be donated to. Access ramps and special bathroom fixtures for the handicapped and the elderly can be provided as requested.
