We're JC & The Two-Steps and this is our version of Ed Sheeran's "You Need Me, I Don't Need You". The arrangement has elements of "Funk Blaster" by Koan Sound, "Red" by Laid Blak and "In Da Club" by 50 Cent. We're a function band based in the North West and if you are interested in booking us then get in touch:

JC & The Two-Steps are a professional function band specialising in corporate events, weddings, parties and live music venues. We play covers from all eras, styles and genres and we are renowned for our mash-ups, medleys and playing songs in our own style. The six members of the band are all full-time musicians ranging from ages 19-21 and we all come from a background of original music, audio engineering & music and video production. All of us are lifelong best friends who are getting the chance to live out our dream job and that is reflected in our energetic live performances.

We have enjoyed national success playing functions all over the UK. With years of touring experience, we have had the pleasure of playing at functions and gigs with bands and celebrities such as Marcus Collins, Status Quo, Tyler James, George Sampson, John Barnes, Paul Crone, Sally Lindsay, The Automatic, Deaf Havana, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Lower Than Atlantis, The Blackout, King Charles and many more. One of our arrangements (that of Justin Timberlake's "Rock Your Body") was used in Nouvelle Star (the French Pop Idol) as one of the finalist's performances and we were also invited to play at Chateau du Chantaloup in Le Mans, France during the Le Mans 24 Hour Race season. We are all accomplished singers in our own right and our lead singer Jack Clarke was the lead singer of the Wirral Big Band for five years. JC & The Two-Steps has a large online profile and our music videos on YouTube have received over 46,000 views. The ethos of our band rests on the fact that we like to change songs to make them the most enjoyable they can be, infusing our own love of funk, groove, pop and reggae into the songs.

JC & The Two-Steps have many residencies in Liverpool and the Wirral where you can come and see us play live. In Liverpool, we play at the world-famous club Eric's Live on Mathew Street, the LFC Family Park at Anfield Stadium, The Liverpool Pub on James Street and O'Neill's on Hanover Street. In the Wirral we are trialling a new acoustic jam night which anyone can play at in the Pilot Boat on Magazine Lane in New Brighton every Thursday. We hope you enjoy our songs, music videos and photos and we hope you see in us a 'commercial quality' that will convince you that we would be a fantastic band to have at your event. It's not a cliché when we say that we are dedicated, vibrant and very hard-working. We have built a function band that people are genuinely excited about and it would be a pleasure to come and play for you all!
