http://www.tytyga.com/product/Brugman... The Purple Angel trumpet plant blooms all summer and fall with one foot long purple and white, double stacked-together, trumpets with a pleasant fragrance, but all parts of the plant are deadly if ingested. That is why it's named "Angel trumpet", because you hopefully see angels in heaven after you eat it. After blooming the flower becomes a brown seed pod, and the seeds can be immediately planted to increase the plants. The purple angel trumpet plant can also be hybridized with the pink, white and yellow angel trumpets to get an intermediate mix of colors and stripes. Except for Florida, Louisiana and southern Texas, the Purple Angel Trumpet Plant, instead of being grown out of doors, can be grown in Northern State greenhouse conditions like New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
