a man is held at at gun and knife-point by kids not old enough to drive a car. little did they know he had a camera on them the whole time. eddie garcia just spoke with the victim late this evening and joins us live on comanche and wyoming where the robbery happened. according to the search warrant these teens had been casing this man's condo -- labeling him as a "geek" who wouldn't put up a fight during a robbery. and last night he didn't fight back - but instead outsmarted them. a burglar stole cash from chris stup's home wednesday - something he vowed would never happen again. yesterday morning we installed this surveillance system, got it all up and running and record video - not even 8 hours before it happened. that evening he was watching tv upstairs -- the security camera aimed at the front door which was unlocked when it happened. they busted into my house - i was watching a movie and all of the sudden i have a knife on my throat and a gun in my face. i definitely felt that knife on my throat. police are not allowing the video to be aired. for stup...the next few moments were a blur but he caught a glimpse at his captors - two children aged 14 and 16 one pointing a gun - the other with a knife. down stairs two other teens - one only 13-- ransacking his house stealing a playstation, video games and other electronics. i knew that is was all on camera already so i wasn't going to make a scene and get myself shot. that video payed off - police were able to identify and arrest all the teens involved. still - stup says if it ever happens again, he'll be ready. i will probably be purchasing a weapon here in the near future, definitely keeping the door lock - the security camera is definitely going to stay. police say all four teens have been booked into juvenile detention and are facing serious charges. right now they're not releasing the surveillance video.
