lol..been there..done that...
I could watch there eyes as the bait hi8t the water and see it did not go too far.  I cast farther than what there's appear to be, and I cast casual.  Funny they do not show how far it really is.  My guess is a heavy weight, to keep from back-lashing, then a short cast as the end result.  If they were really casting FAR, it would take longer for their eyes to reach the surface of the water.  Its not real, just real funny.
