Topic: Why Religion?

Each faith's doctrine related to the purpose of religion and how it came into being. How religion benefits the individual and society. If some of the worst actions have been committed in the name of religion and some of the best people lead noble lives without it, might it be better to dispense with it?

In a world torn apart by religious misunderstanding, the goal of the Interfaith Forums is to provide an experience where people can hear different religions' perspectives in an environment of mutual respect. It is a time and place to hear and be heard. For 25 years, the forums have helped forge strong relationships between members of Southern Nevada's diverse religious communities.

The forums are followed by a time for socializing and refreshments provided by the host congregation.
