At the end of this spot promoting David Letterman's third prime time special on CBS we took a friendly jab at the local Fox television affiliate in the market. The "consider the alternative" tag was done in the same style they used for their local news promos, and then Dave mentions the Fox show Cops.
After this had aired I was told that the Fox station had created one of their own promos that was in the style of WBNG's news promos. I have not seen it and cannot say if it was in response to this spot, but I like to think it was. As far as I know it was always friendly competition in the market.
