Together with our cooperation partner YXLON, we are testing a new computer tomograph (CT) with a double tube system live within the exhibition that scans larger objects in higher resolution than before. In addition to insects and smaller reptiles, from now on e.g. dinosaur vertebrae or larger animal skulls will be scanned. The resulting images allow detailed, three-dimensional insights into the smallest structures and even into the interior of the objects – without damaging them.
