Globally, nearly half of the 61 million* children out of school are girls. Why is this happening and what more can we do?
In April 2013, UNGEI Global Advisory Committee members and partners met in New York to discuss the future of UNGEI as we countdown towards the deadline for the Millennium Development Goals. We took this opportunity to get their thoughts as well as a special youth perspective.
