New York City Council Member Ben Kallos will deliver the Keynote Address "Hack the Law" at the MIT Media Lab in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  

Participating online from their home districts, New York City Council Member Brad Lander and San Francisco Supervisor Mark Farrell join Ben in posing the  "Democracy 2.0 Open Platform" Innovation Challenge.

Dazza Greenwood of MIT Media Lab, host of the Legal Hackathon, will facilitate an online questions and discussion forum for all participants to engage with the topic,  the presenters and each other.  After the Keynote, the Online Legal Hackathon features a Open Collaboration Period for small teams to form around projects.  

Seamus Kraft, Executive Director of Open Government Foundation, will provide a talk on open law prior to the Keynote.
