John Enoch, says, “Thanksgiving is a secular event, in need of a sacred twist.” Psalm 100, verse 4, says, “Enter God’s gate with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, bless his name.” Gratitude will be the focus of our Interfaith Thanksgiving service this year, sponsored by the Attleboro Area Council of Churches. The service will be this Sunday, November 23rd at 7 pm at the John Wesley AME Zion Church, , just north of downtown North Attleboro, at 32 Broad Street. The Rev. Robin Woods, will be hosting, I will be preaching, other area clergy will be participating, and a community choir will be singing. If possible attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items and offerings in support to our Food ‘N Friends Programs, feeding individuals and families in need. Join us for this community worship service, and add a blessing to your Thanksgiving!
