Finally got him out of bed and to school. Let's hope no one in the 3rd grade brings up the election...emotions are still a bit close to the surface. :) Update: For anyone worried about Xander - he was totally fine by the time he got home from school. I put the video on YouTube last week to show some family and friends who know Xander because his passion about the election was cracking me up. The only other YouTube video I have ever uploaded and sent to roughly the same group of people (and also left public) got 21 views in a year - I suppose lesson learned?? Xander told me he voted for Romney in his class mock election (and he knew who his parents voted for). True or not, I am not really sure where his "back in 2008 facts" came from. I would guess TV commercials or one of the robo phone calls we got...they were unavoidable from both sides. Dinner video referenced at the end: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIHbe-... No...we were not there at the dinner, just watched on YouTube during a family gathering because it's funny and Xander saw it too. Xander thinks he is a mini-adult, has always been that way, but can clearly still throw-down a tantrum like an eight year old. :) In the comments there has been much speculation on what news channel Xander has been watching. Truth is I don't typically let Xander watch the news. I usually watch NBC - I like Brian Williams, especially when he slow-jams the news with Jimmy Fallon.
Happy viewing - and "disliking" if you fit in with the like/dislike voting majority.
