Opens Barcelona Door To Roberto Baggio
The Blaugrana boss says that the former Azzurri star is always welcome at the Spanish club...

Barcelona tactician Pep Guardiola has allowed former Italy star Roberto Baggio to speak to the players after their Champions League quarter-final second leg clash against Arsenal.

The Spanish side demolished the Gunners 4-1 thanks to four goals from talisman Lionel Messi.

"I am happy that he came to watch us," Guardiola said of his former Brescia team-mate to Goal.com Italia. "He is a great friend of mine and spoke to the players in the dressing room.

"He knows that Barcelona is also his home," the coach added.

Baggio has been highly critical of modern football in recent years, and considers the reigning Champions League winners as one of the only teams that play real football.

He is also known to really admire Messi, which is why he specifically came to watch the match.
