Singer/actress Mandy Moore reports from the Bimbo Health Clinic in the Central African Republic (CAR) about the work of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria.

Along with the UN Foundation's Nothing But Nets campaign, PSI, and our UN partners, Mandy Moore recently helped distribute thousands of long-lasting, insecticide-treated mosquito nets to families in CAR, a country with one of the highest childhood death rates in the world and where malaria is a primary cause of illness and death.

The Global Fund is an innovative global public-private partnership dedicated to attracting and disbursing resources to prevent and treat these HIV/AIDS, TB, and malaria. Since 2002 the Global Fund has approved more than $19.5 billion in spending to combat these three diseases to date. About 35% of the Global Fund's grants are used to build and strengthen health systems around the world. To get involved, please visit UNFoundation.org.
