The following is a brief news clip that reveals the tragic circumstances of North Korean beggar children referred to in Korean as 'kkotjebi.' These children are orphaned and/or alone and find ways to survive in cruel, dangerous situations.

Recently, one of the children has been found with feet that have been frostbitten and severely burned, requiring amputation. Funds were immediately raised by a South Korean missions organization and the amputation has been completed.

We have been given permission to post this clip, and were requested by our source to post both this along with a follow up clip to alert viewers to the ongoing tragedies faced by NK refugee children, and provide a status update to viewers about the featured child's status/recovery.
