http://bit.ly/Katieandcancer Katie is one reason.
Dr. Yustein met Katie during his first fellowship year at Johns Hopkins; she had just been diagnosed with childhood cancer. "The only options we had were chemotherapy and radiation therapy -- these would only provide extended period of life, but no cure," Yustein said. "I realized then what we can or can't do. It put things into perspective. This was reality."
Why fund childhood cancer research? Because it can CHANGE this reality for children with cancer.
Join the St. Baldrick's Foundation and help fund critically-needed childhood cancer research to give all children a fighting chance. https://www.stbaldricks.org/donate/
