Bye Bye Beautiful

I first heard the song Bye Bye Beautiful by Nightwish in early August of 2009, shortly after learning of Tarja Turunen. It was a very angry, spiteful song, they eventually admitted was about her. Or... was it? Two days after I first heard it, I dreamed of the voice of my stories singing a very different version of this song. She was in a snowy forest, silver hair, grief stricken at the fate of Nightwish. I borrowed the Dark Passion Play album from my library for one day, verifying that indeed, her voice could not be heard except in this one song. Was she saying goodbye to Nightwish, or did I just dream this up. By the way, no Tarja vs. Anette flame wars please, and I don't think Jukka is a better drummer than Mike Tarana either :). The only reason I'd rather listen to Tarja than Anette is the Storyvoice/Ciaran that I refer to in this video, and I don't think Anette has anything to do with why I can't hear her in post-Tarja Nightwish music.
