Marion Ohio on the 27th of December. Part 2 will come as soon as I get the software for my new camera figured out. Remember this: This is the later part. The first four trains were on my new camera.

Train 5
NS 218 Heads south with EMD and GE teaming up. Notice the yellow door on the lead unit.

NS C40-9W

Train 6
CSX manifest Q358 takes the wye from the Indianapolis line (ex-NYC/Erie Lackawanna) to the Columbus line (ex C&O). An all EMD lash-up was a treat.

CSX SD40-2

Train 7
CSX Q636 heads around the curve toward the diamonds on its journey north on the C&O. A lone unit heads the train.

CSX C40-8W

Train 8
Q637 comes south on the C&O about 10 minutes later. It too has a single unit, this time having an EMD. I could feel the wind from the train this time as it passed by.

Train 9
NS 305 comes north. Ohiorailfan informed me that the train is usually long and often has foreign power. We were all expecting UP, but not this time. A lone NS EMD carried the unnecissarily (Sorry for the spelling) short 305 north to Bellevue.

NS SD70M-2
