'Jackaroos' is taken from the 32-song double CD/triple vinyl album 'Dan Haywood's New Hawks'.

Says Dan: "It's about the Highlanders and Islanders forced into a nu life in Oz on account of those heinous Hielan Clearances. Turned into unlikely jackaroes for the salty voyage and then into unlikely jackaroos in the sandy outback...having to farm sheep similar to the ones that drove them out... the electronic hiss at the end is the sea and the landlocked sand, and those Australian insects... and a seriously fooked Fender Twin on 10."
