On our way up Paso Guillaumet in Argentina's Parque Nacional los Glacieres outside El Chalten we experienced some of the jarringly-powerful wind that comes from the ice fields of the Campo del Hielo del Sur (Patagonian Ice Field). It felt like being in a extended 6pt earthquake. Fortunately we got our North Face Summit Series Mountain 25 tent set up before the big gusts came through Piedras Negras.
