Texas Children's Hospital, ranked 4th nationally among children's hospitals by U.S. News & World Report in 2013, is the newest institution to install a ReadyCam© on-site studio, allowing doctors, nurses, scientists, researchers and patient families to appear live on broadcast news programs. Nationally recognized experts in children's and women's health will now be available 24/7 to report and comment on breaking health care news directly from Texas Children's in Houston, Texas. For a list of experts and topics the hospital can speak on, please visit: http://www.texaschildrens.org/experts/.

Texas Children's joined partner ReadyCam to implant their technology that enables broadcast quality, high-definition video to be transmitted over the Internet to news media organizations.

"We are pleased to provide the national, local and regional media outlets quick and reliable access to our health care experts at Texas Children's Hospital," says Christy Brunton, director of public relations at Texas Children's. "ReadyCam will allow the hospital to easily transmit high quality audio and video to any news outlet quickly and efficiently, opening the door to direct reporting from the front lines of one of the nation's largest children's hospitals, and the largest in the south."

The hospital has experts available to comment on a variety of health care topics in heart, cancer, neurology, neonatology, allergy and immunology, radiology, fetal surgery, women's health, pregnancy and many more topics.

To book the Texas Children's Hospital ReadyCam studio for commentary and interviews, contact the PR department by paging or calling 832-824-2099 and asking for the media representative on call.
