16.27 lol xb great T man
well then BUY ONE!!!! jk lol well kinda. Id use pro tools then OR reason. IF your computer is not that good reason will the best bet.
I don't have a mac, but I'm not sure what you mean by being more sample based?...I'd like to work with a program has a wide variety of quality sounds that I can experiment with, but that can produce good sounds for basic guitar and bass inputs as well. (I'll be doing mostly guitar, bass, and drum recording) Also, it needs to be fairly easy to learn and not too advanced because I'm going to be new to music recording. I don't want to be overwhelmed.
if you are more sample based then FL is the way to go. FL is not bad but theirs a few things missing in it (STILL!) which makes it meh. If you had a mac id say go logic all the way. Nothing beats reason or logic

Hey man, thanks for the video, i'm about to buy MP9 but i have one question : are all these sounds and effects in xpand included in the soft or do you need to upgrade the software to enjoy all those instruments and effects ? Thanks a lot !
and we are BIZZ-ACK! haha.. nice videos mate. starting a college course soon and wanted a heads up on pro tools and the basics of it. very helpfull. thanks
Well. All programs do the same thing. It's just HOW the program goes about doing it is the only diff. PT DOSE offer better sounds but no good drums or drum sampler to load your own drums into. FL dosent have real quantize while recording which to me is a deal breaker. 40/40 Uses PT and you can get alot of his sounds BUT If I where you I would buy the highest FL package online and get free up dates for life. Then You can save up for good vsts and and drums and then branch out.
