Led by Dr. Roberto Bolli, the University of Louisville will head a new research consortium that will revolutionize how scientists explore ways to protect the heart from damage during a heart attack.
Awarded $9.56 million from the NIH, UofL will work with Johns Hopkins University, Emory University and Virginia Commonwealth University.
