Nigel Triffitt - an edited version (from 35 minutes) of a Keynote Address Nigel gave to open the 2002 Puppetry & Animatronics Summit in Melbourne Australia. The photo is by Jeff Busby and was taken a few years earlier.
Nigel died in July 2012 and will be missed by all who valued his creativity. The better known among his astonishing creative works are sections of the Opening Ceremony of the 2000 Sydney Olympics, ditto the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games, Tap Dogs and Secrets, both of which toured extensively throughout the world.
In the past few years, Nigel's creativity focussed mostly on his beautiful Wordpress blogs of his travels and his family history.
These can be explored at http://thedogster.wordpress.com and www.triffitt.wordpress.com
There is also a terrific published interview with Nigel at http://www.bargainshoes.com.au/bargai...
