I attempted to creat a still picture using video. I understood that a video of the flow of water allowed more intrest than a still photo did, over time. I wanted the audience to wander between the video & the music and the words and the message. This is the view on the Pathlachascottee River, east. The sunrise is special looking toward the swamp 3 miles to the east. After I finished the video for this, knowing I would edit it to Time In a Bottle" and to "Time Slips Through My Fingers" I sat on the dock bench facing west, where the sun would set 7 where the Gulf is 3 miles away. I heard, I thought a large fish jump. I walked to the rail of the dock,as a tripod, & when i saw the Anhinga jump onto the dock, I started filming the prehistoric looking bird dry himself out. The first 3 minutes of this process were edited against AJ Croce's ( a lifetime friend) "Bury Me Standing", now on YouTube. The last 19 minutes were used to cover Joseph Salviuolo's Improvisation for Piano (2). No one but Jseph has seen that.
Thank you, Hy aka Redkruzer
