Statistics New Zealand has produced a video about the 2011 Census for the deaf. The video, called "What you need to know - 2011 Census in New Zealand Sign Language", was filmed with a sign language interpreter and covers the importance of the census, what the information is used for, and what people need to do on census day.

The video is also available on the Census website and on the Deaf Aotearoa website.
