Mark Stacy reminisces about his days in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles, in the song "Tropical Bakery" from his Phonograph Records CD "Believe It All".
In this song, he takes us back to a day when a cup of great coffee was sixty cents at the Tropical Bakery, and a time when it was still a local secret. The spot, now called "Cafe Tropical", is a hang out for hipsters from all over the city. Spend a few minutes at Cafe Tropical with Mark and the locals. Camilla may be gone, but there is a cameo appearance by singer Diana DeWitt who also performs backing vocals with Mark on the recording.
