The Goodyear Airship, Spirit of America, based in Carson, CA USA, lifts off. Note the angle of attack at about 45 degrees. A large crew holds her steady while one crewman climbs a tethering pole to detach her. The crew holding the tethering lines walk the airship away from the pole onto the field. Holding onto both sides underneath the cabin, the crew bounces the ship twice off a wheel underneath and on the last bounce, pushes her into the air as she guns her engines for departure.
