The Video Attached explains why I pull the Radiator and other items. Yes it can be done with out doing it but I go into detail why I do so... its up to you ...

Strap wrench a pretty much must have http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12...

The wrench is like this but forgot the size so check the nut on the fan before going to sears

To the people who dont want to take out the Radiator... good for you... Then don't...

When I do a job then I do it all. I understand if money is tight but still doesn't mean you should do a half ass job. I have tried to clean the area where the pump bolts too while the Rad. is in and its a bitch and your just wasting time.

To remove more items or bolts doesn't mean the job will take longer. That is a failed theory by someone who can not admit they are just lazy. Two remove the "extra" parts takes me about five min's tops. Then all the hard places to get too like the thermostat etc are a piece of cake. So I dont care if you do not want to take out the 2 bolts that holds the radiator in, 4 for ac pump etc.

Most people do not know that the Radiator not only starts to clog with crap but also likes to rot from the bottom. So you could be doing a job and it still run warm because you never saw that pin hole in the bypass hose or rotted bottom of the Rad. etc...

Do it right the first time.
