On October 14, Centrify CEO Tom Kemp appeared on 20 TV and radio morning shows nationwide to discuss the problem with passwords. In this video, Tom appears on PCNC-TV (NBC) Pittsburgh and explains how a recent Centrify survey found that 25 percent or respondents commit the cardinal sin of using same password whenever possible. Equally alarming, the study found that 38 percent of respondents don’t use a pin on their smartphones, despite often using their device to access both personal and work-related data. From the latest wave of high-profile celebrity photo breaches, to mainstream hacks on the nation’s largest retailer and bank networks, Kemp examines today’s issues around passwords, and shares some helpful advice with America.
