This game is not for everyone, and in some parts may contain very comical yet animated nudity. You play as an immigration officer for the Motherland of Arstotzka (Blatently fashioned after Soviet Russia). You come to be immigration officier by pure luck by winning a lottery. Due to this, you are able to provide shelter for you and your family.

Don't think that providing means for their survival is easy. You have to do your job properly to get credits, and if you do things incorrectly you can make matters far worse on yourself, as you'll get penalized some pay.

Greenlight: Papers, Please, is definitely not for everyone. This game blatently makes fun of a certain culture and if that type of comedy is not for you, then it is more than understandable. I wanted to make this live stream because I wanted to break out of my shell and try something new. (I also found it comical in its blatant yet soviet satire).

I go through this lets play of Papers, Please, to not only give people an idea of what the game is about, but whether or not they would want to play it on their own. Currently, you can get the demo for free so I suggest grabbing that if you think you'd enjoy playing the game, before it comes onto steam.
