A new video in our series titled "Nursery rhymes from around the world". This rhyme brings out the best of Arabic music and sound.

As always, we do not speak Arabic, so please do bear with us in case we have made any pronunciation or rendition mistakes.

Any feedback would be positively appreciated. The translation is given below.

I Am the Wind

Knock Knock Knock Knock
Knock Knock Knock Knock
Mommy: Who is knocking at the door?
The wind:
Let me in, let me in, for I am the wind.
I miss you beloved children, let me in.
Brrr brrr Brrr brrr
Mommy: That's the wind that's knocking at the door
It brought the winter, it brought the cold.
Don't you dare open the door!
Knock Knock Knock Knock
Knock Knock Knock Knock
The wind: Open the door beloved children.
I come carrying raincoats and new clothes for you on my back.
Children: Hurray, Hurray! What joy this brings us.
Lets open up the door,
Lets wear that red raincoat with the hat and new socks!
