Brad and Ben Kalough travel to scenic San Francisco to sit in a building, making sure that Sonic 4: Episode 2 doesn't suck.
We had a fun time at SEGA of America and met some great people in fellow guests and SOA employees. I want to thank everybody we met and shared contacts with on our trip.
For the Sonic 4 feedback session (the highlight for most of you, I'm sure), I cut down the 30 minutes into about 10. There are moments where I started to speak and cut the camera, because I didn't feel like rolling on what I was saying for those initial discussions about physics and level design. I spoke at length and since I gesticulate a lot, it would have been a mess. As a substitute, I've cut in abridged versions of what I said to Aaron and Ken.
Hopefully, everything we threw at them gives them enough to create a game that I will actually enjoy (a.k.a. "be good").
I know that it's the Sonic community and that most of you have a tendency to post stupid, ill-informed comments like there ain't no tomorrow, but think about what you post before you post it. They wanted feedback and we gave it to them as professional as possible. Anybody who says, "oh my god complaiiiiniiiiing" needs a reality check.
Feel free to ask me questions about the event.
