Anna Bax '13 discusses her 2011 linguistics Summer Undergraduate Research Project, which she undertook under the mentorship of Professor Michael Diercks. She studied Manyika, a Bantu language spoken in Zimbabwe and Mozambique that has never been formally researched. Working with a native Manyika speaker, she studied object marking patterns in the language.
