Michael Moore should've gone to the Federal Reserve to demand the American people's money back. The Fed is the institution that is robbing this nation blind.

agree
The Anarcho - Fascist
Corporatism is not capitalism. Moore is retarded.

Capitalism without The State is impossible. The State enforces contracts and private ownership with law (and violence). If you remove The State then it'll be a Capitalist free-for-all. At some point modern day Capitalist Genghis Khan will ride in, subjugate you, and your private court of concerned capitalists will be decapitated. The State and Capitalism aren't enemies but they actually need each other to survive. The government would have to immediately be replaced to preserve the concept of private property and contracts. Your "Private Court" would need to exert it's jurisdiction somehow with other competing Courts. You'd find yourself waging war on these competing courts until eventually you achieve hegemony status. At this point you are The State.

Mr Moor went to the wrong banks. He should have gone to the Federal Reserve.  Jefferson said that he feared a Central bank more than he feared an standing army. Moor is an example of someone who knows that there is something wrong but doesnt have a clue what it is or what to call it. Funny that Moor has benefited from the very system that he says is the problem. He needs to do a little more research. But why do that when you can make millions doing movies with only half-assed information?

I am not a huge michael moore fan, I have to always watch with an open mind...but...I can tell you, from personal experience, a lot of things in this film really have happened, and are still happening to many people today. Yes if you pay your mortgage on time you can have your home foreclosed on, yes many banks screwed people over with dirty loans, yes many lenders fudged the incomes on many homeowners without them ever knowing it causing an eventual foreclosure or bankruptcy, yes you can have your car repossessed even though you're current on payments, yes banks put through auto loans that had forged signatures on it done in order to change the rate of the loan, and on and on...I've had almost all of it happen to me. Wells Fargo tried to fake my income (which I refused to do) the lender said to me, "don't worry no one will look at it". My bank repossessed my car when the payments were current and up to date, they admitted they shouldn't have done it & I had to get a lawyer to get it back and then the bank lost the car and had no idea where it was towed to, my bank put through an auto loan with my forged signature on it as co-signer and never verified the signature & now claim I owe them money, my bank claimed they never received our mortgage payments & refused to take our last payment claiming it was the incorrect amt even though we received a letter from them saying the payment amt went down and they're now trying to foreclose on me over it, my bank withdrew over $3k out of my personal checking for someone else's loan (a loan that didn't have my name on it)....I could write a book of all the things they've done.....it's not always about people living beyond their means, it's often about people who work and pay taxes and pay their bills in full on time and still get screwed. I'm not the only one it's happening all over & many cannot afford to get a lawyer to fight it. This shouldn't be happening in America.

What's with the dislikes? This is nothing but cold hardened truth and i just finished watching this. The USA is a blood country filled with overwhelming greed, evil and deception. If Roosevelt still lived on, this country would of been alot better off, but no. It's just better off for the 1% and major corporations CEOS and a number of select individuals. It's unjust and your mentality is evil as well if you think capitalism has any sort of benefit. Outstanding documentary and it touched me deeply.

Moore is an fool confusing Capitalism it's Opposite, Corporatism (Corporate-Socialism). Capitalism requires free choice of IF, WHERE & HOW MUCH of your savings aka "capital" you invest to produce a positive return aka "profit". You could invest in your education, real estate, start a business aka "corporation" or invest in another by buying stocks... Whatever. The choice is yours but so are the risks & the rewards. Corporatism is Corporate-Socialism where Marxist Central Planners force you to "invest" taxes taken from you under threat of government gun violence. Politicians decide where and how much. You still keep the risk in the form of higher taxes and the rewards are redistributed. Of course, Politicians who understand that it takes $Millions to seek re-election "invest" in those ventures with the best lobbyists with the largest campaign contributions. These same "ventures" write the regulations to bankrupt their smaller competition thus increasing their profits while increasing our costs. Corporate-Socialism aka "Corporatism" produces cronyism, greed, theft, government gun violence and all around corruption. Capitalism requires free competition which forces innovation, increases quality &market choice while lowering costs for the consumer. Government thumb on the market scale ALWAYS produces negative results except for one thing... But how can we expect the government monopoly to break up a corporate monopoly?
