Air Transat launches the first fully refurbished aircraft in it's fleet of 23 airbus aircraft. The new Airbus A330-200 was presented yesterday at Gatwick airport. This $4m refurbishment includes state of the art seats made by Zumi providing more space and more lumbar support, with headrests with 4 different positiions, touch screen in flight entertainment personal systems by RAVE, mood lighting, which changes throughout the flight in different shades according to the time of day and direction of the flight, encouraging a better on board ambience and reducing the effects of long haul flying on the body. New carpet, cabin bins, new toilets including full length mirrors and wooden style flooring. These aircraft will roll out across the fleet in over the coming 2 years and will operate Canadian Affair flights as hey roll.
