The province of Pavia is rich in history and art, the green landscape is reflected in the rice paddies of Lomellina, and flows through the rolling hills of Oltrepò. This is a province full of countless castles, churches and abbeys in age-old villages and towns waiting to be discovered. But this is also a province renowned for its excellent foods and wines: the famous goose meat salami of Mortara, the sausage meats of the Oltrepò all to be tasted with a glass of the excellent local wine, only a couple of examples of the many local dishes and products, grown and prepared from natural produce with loving care according to traditional recipes.
