2000 objects running the standard flocking algo using a sweep and prune based awareness system. 2000 objects are given random placement and velocity in an 800x800x800 cube with visibility randomized between 25 and 50 (i.e. some of the boids are near sighted :)) and they eventually organize into flocks.
Flocking is computed multi-core. Awareness and rendering are single core at the moment.
Initial setup is a bit rough but the system settles down to a steady 60fps without hitches quickly. (Not that you can likely see that in a youtube video unfortunately..)
