A presentation by Paul Onishi with Vishnu Om.

Paul Onishi has been demonstrating and instructing people about food preparation and presentation for over 17 years. He has worked as one of the first sushi chefs to be trained in America, owned and managed catering business${q} in California and Hawaii, and has taught cooking classes around the country. He presently works as a teacher at Castle High School, working with students in a hands-on food service program.

A few years ago, Paul radically changed his lifestyle when he was told that his diet and lack of exercise would eventually lead to prostate cancer. The challenge was not only personal, but affected his career. Through his exploration, he discovered a whole new world of products and techniques that allowed him to stay healthy without sacrificing taste. Please join Paul for an evening of creative and healthy culinary treats.

Vishnu Om graduated from Castle High School as one of Mr. Onishi${q}s top students. He has been a vegetarian all his life and currently works in the "show kitchen" at Sam Choy${q}s Diamond Head Restaurant.
