1924 recording of "Thousand Mile Blues", a novelty blues duet by Charles Sargent (on what sound like a hot fountain pen?) and John Marvin (on the banjuke). A particularly scratchy record on the OKeh label (yep, it is loud!).
As a backdrop I used the classic signature model Johnny Marvin Tenor Ukulele, as manufactured by the Harmony Company in around 1928. Not only does it look great, it's a good instrument too.
