I have an old white Christmas tree that has yellowed so much that it is no longer usable in the state it is in. This video is my first attempt at dying a Christmas tree with a liquid synthetic fiber dye and it went very well. I paid about $9 for a 7 ounce bottle of pink synthetic fiber dye and to dye the entire tree I ended up using about 4 ounces total because I occasionally added hot water and a few teaspoons of dye as the water level went down. If you attempt this, test this process on one small part of the tree first because some trees could melt during this process due to the heat. Also keep the windows open and the oven ventilation turned on while cooking to avoid any potential toxins from the tree from accumulating in your home.
