RHS160F hydrofoil "Sydney" leaving Manly one day in 1988. Filmed from a motor cruiser doing 20 knots to give a good idea of how fast the RHS160F was. Laden cruising speed of 37 knots, 41 knots light load at full revs. "Sydney and sistership "Manly (II)" were first of new class of RHS160F hydrofoil from Rodriquez shipyard. Standard design had wheelhouse on top of upper deck saloon giving forward vision and more space for passengers. Sydney and Manly were 235 passengers in commuter configuration, standard design 180-220 pax.
