This is how you can easily make your own design globes this Christmas. Here is a composition that I came up with but you can play with your own ideas depending on the materials you have.
First, put your yarn in a bowl or a jar.
Now cut this if you have one.
Then use a solid glue stick on the first half of the globe. You can try with other types of glue if you don’t have the solid one, it might work just fine.
Next step is obviously wrapping. Add your thread and run it in a circular motion securing it from time to time with your hands. Continue doing so until you reach the half of the globe. Cut and seal the end with more glue.
Position your lace around and secure the end with glue.
Now get your glue again and use it on the rest of the globe. Add glitter all over this part until it’s fully covered. Remove the excess by gently shaking it.
If you don’t want any of the glue on the lace leave it to dry for a few minutes before you apply the glue.
