With two fantastic Elder Scrolls games gracing the last generation, we can't even begin to imagine the ways number six will wow us. But it's coming and we know it's gonna blow us away all over again. Can you believe it's been over three years since Skyrim? Here are five things we want in Elder Scrolls 6!
5. Better radiant quests
Aside from the huge world to explore and conquer, one of Skyrim's biggest replayability factors was its never ending supply of miscellaneous radiant quests. But what use are infinite radiant quests when they're as shallow as a puddle of Skeever blood? Instead of fetch this item or kill this bandit, we'd like something deeper and more interesting in the next game.
4. More playable races
The Elder Scrolls have always been generous in its selection of races. But we're growing tired of the same old ones, even though there are plenty more that have yet to be featured. There's only so many times you can play as an Orc or Redguard before pining for something more. How awesome would it be to play as and interact with the Tang Mo, Tropical Elves and even the Tsaesci snake people and more?
3. Improved dynamic world
As vast and interesting as the game worlds are, when it comes to progression and depth the after taste is always very bland. The reason why is so little important change ever actually occurs and even less that makes any real difference. But if the next Elder Scrolls takes a leaf out of The Witcher and Mass Effect's cause and effect, the worlds could truly be brought to life.
2. Akavir
Steeped in mystery and fascinating lore, the far eastern land of Akavir would be the perfect setting for the next Elder Scrolls. Not only is Akavir a whole new continent AND home of the dragons, but so little is known about the place that there's a whole world of possibilities to explore. The writers have free reign to go absolutely wild and we're all for that. The Elder Scrolls 6: Akavir, please!
1. The biggest world yet
Cyrodiil was massive and Skyrim was enormous, but with the Elder Scrolls 6 we expect something absolutely colossal. It's a little known fact that Skyrim takes thirty minutes to cross from beginning to end. So imagine if Bethesda do decide to go with Akavir, they could really pull out all the stops by allowing access to the entire continent. You can only imagine the endless and incredible possibilities.
