Treffyn Koreshoff - "Design for the world: The internet of things" Product design, service design and lean startups are converging - at the border is the internet of things. More and more devices are connecting to the web every day, these devices leave behind vast trails of data that can help us better understand the world around us.
With a bit of smart design, Treffyn believes the successful products of the future will use the data around them to offer users truly worthwhile services.
There are big opportunities for startups to disrupt established industries. Designing smarter systems that are human-solution centric, produce less waste, and are cheaper.
Having grown up in Sydney, Australia; and worked in San Francisco and London, Treffyn has seen many different variations on the next generation of devices and services. He's here to share his favourite, the internet of things, and talk about how great design and common sense are the two backbones for the next internet.
