Author Ina Hillebrandt reads short tales from her book "Pawprints," Your Furry Home Companion, and talks about how the book came to be, in a segment taped by PBS TV channel WXEL. Host: Toni May, Producer Jerry Grenn. "Pawprints" is the book of tales of Handsome Hillebrandt, World's Best Dog, Rapper P. Cat, shrimp walking on a beach in Kauaii, sea lions and otters in Carmel, and other 2- and 4-legged critters that made "Pawprints" a hit with kids and grownups, making it to the top seller list on Amazon.com, and leading to the creation of the Pawprints Literacy Plus program, sparked by an Educators Workshop for the Jane Goodall Institute. Thanks to Bill Wosko and Marlene Ross for help in getting this piece, and permission to upload! And thanks to all at WXEL for the programming they provide.
