At CGI U 2010, an Engineers Without Borders student team from Valparaiso University made a commitment to restore the irrigation water supply to the 2,500 residents of Masaera, Tanzania. Building on their work in Masaera in 2009, team members worked with a variety of local groups to rehabilitate canals, improving the control of water flow from Mount Kilimanjaro and decreasing erosion. The team has expanded its commitment to include clean water and water--related health issues.
