Danny Darche, an active campaigner who has fought to improve access to pertussis vaccination, tells of the joy he felt when his local health authorities announced plans to update their vaccine schedule. Danny began his campaign after his baby daughter, Lore, died from whooping cough just 83 days after birth. Along with his family and others, Danny continues to encourage people, including pregnant women, to have the pertussis vaccine in order to protect themselves as well as those who are too young to have the vaccine. But the pertussis vaccines victory was not the only good news Danny received. Watch the video to find out why he's smiling!
