Brazilian individual and corporations resident in the U.S. face a number of tax and legal issues that result from their activities in both countries.  Join us for a panel of experienced professionals, who can address topics across the full range of disciplines, including tax, legal, and investing, who will highlight what Brazilian expatriates and companies with cross border businesses should know.

Some of the topics to be addressed include:
•    US tax compliance (including the 2017 tax reform) for non-resident citizens, dual citizens, and green-card holders

•    Pre-Immigration tax planning & expatriation planning

Highlighting important cross border considerations will be Bruno Drummond of Drummond Advisors. Bruno has been active for more than 15 years advising companies and individuals in cross border activities with Brazil. In 2010 he established his Boston based company, to manage the growing demand for such services.  Complementing the discussion will be will be David Tobon a partner of Grant Herman Schwartz and Klinger, and Giev Askari of HSBC Private Banking. Both are attorneys with long experience in cross border tax, legal and wealth management.
