The videoclip of a completely new song by the Carnicats, a rap band singing in the Carnic dialect, based on the folk violin music of Giulio Venier. All kinds of people that the crew came across while shooting the two editions (summer & winter) of Digital Diary FVG were invited to sing and dance to the song “Paisàn”, creating an exhilarating impromptu musical video!

The Carnicats, with their song “Paisàn”, chosen as the theme tune for the 2012 promotional campaign, were picked as ambassadors of Friuli musical culture. The video was shot by the Digital Diary FVG directors.
The Digital Diary of Friuli Venezia Giulia is an unconventional marketing project introducing the region through the eyes of seven international video bloggers (from Germany, Holland, Ireland, United States, South Africa and Canada). These young videomakers spent seven days in Friuli Venezia Giulia taking part in a series of engaging and original events, to which they added their own creative contributions. They went out of their way to establish cordial relations with the local inhabitants and many of the people they met while shooting were also used as impromptu actors.
The idea behind the Digital Diary of Friuli Venezia Giulia is based on a simple and at the same time innovative concept like Cantforget.it{aly}. It is thanks to the excellent results of the first edition of the Digital Diary (held in Basilicata) and its reverberations throughout the web, involving opinion leaders and trendsetters, as well as its success with the media, that the FVG Regional Tourist Board decided to set up its own project to promote its region, opting to divide the shooting into two periods, one in winter and one in summer.
